Late guerilla marketing for The End of Oak Street?
That movie was better than I was expecting. Not amazingly great, but better.
I like the implication that she saved everyone in the neighborhood but herself and her kids. What the fuck lady.
The other copies just got to go… die without dad in prehistory?
I like how they end up in some lady’s pool and she gets all upset and then most wanders off scene while they continue to hang in her back yard.
I found it to be a terrible movie. The pacing and tone was all over the place. The plot was amnesiac.
It was a real fucking turd for real. I didn’t want to be straight rude to the person I was replying to but it felt very… Shallowly considered…
These people will live forever with memories of watching their father eaten alive but that’s somehow just not a long term trauma that they will never get over.
It just seems like it glossed over a lot of important info for the sake of telling the story while ignoring the darker implications.
I too liked it better than I thought I would. It felt like a classic Ray Bradbury story.
I saw a drawing of that tree. Does that count?
Yes, we all saw the end of oak street.
Or perhaps you were just wandering around and stumbled into a gorge that just happened to have the last remaining population on Earth.
But… what if the tree feel into such a tear in the fabric of spacetime and that’s why I’m seeing it?
