These people really need to touch grass. If you go outside for like ten minutes you will see a dinosaur, pretty much anywhere on earth that people live

some people think dialectical materialism is when you don’t believe in objective reality. this is one of those people.

Ok, let’s give this theory the thought it deserves Ok done, that was fast. Complete nonsense, no need for more than a microsecond of investigation.

If we were to actually examine this claim though, because I have a bit of time to kill right now, then the idea is that the capitalist establishment is faking dinosaurs for…reasons? Profit? Steven Spielberg got one wish from them after filming the fake moon landing and he wanted to prank everyone with fake big lizards? And of course, every socialist state that has ever existed has just gone along with this, again, for some kind of reason I’m sure, maybe they’re all revisionist and the first sign of revisionism is saying dinosaurs exist?

So the claim doesn’t really have any motive for people to fake it, and also has a lot of potential whistleblowers who inexplicably just decide to go along with the western establishment, again for no reason or benefit.

Lets consider what they are claiming beyond the literal facts (or lack thereof). Their primary claim is: Liberal institutions lie about things (true) therefore they are lying about this thing. This is actually a common train of logic a lot of communists have, it’s a vulgar understanding, but in general, assuming the US/Western establishment is just lying to us can be pretty accurate, at least in geopolitics and economics. It falls flat very quickly when it comes to science though.

Those liberals would have you believe the earth is round and the sky is blue and you need oxygen to survive, so assuming they must be wrong just because they are the designated “bad guy” is a terrible way to examine things. In fact (and this will surprise no one here), automatic dismissal of everything the eternal enemy says is much more a trait of Fascism than communism. This is how Fascists want people to think, to reject all evidence and only believe what their in-group says is true.

So why this thing? The CPA is a pretty well know Psy-Op at this point, and something as absurd as this does two things. 1: It makes people within the group have to actively reject all evidence and just rely further on groupthink(as mentioned above), and 2: It makes “communists” look like dumbass fundamentalist Christians who think the earth is 6000 years old, but somehow even more ignorant, because at least those guys think dinosaurs existed (even if they think the Flintstones was a documentary). So anyone looking into communists and communism will see these anecdotes from very loudly self-proclaimed communists about dinosaurs being fake, and will just assume all communists are crazy conspiracy theorists, no further investigation needed. They’ll never read communist theory, they’ll never form any genuine anti-capitalist opinions, they’ll remain a good obedient little cog in the machine.

theory entertained and swiftly rejected due to the preponderance of evidence against it. Anticommunism hangs on anecdotes, lies via statistics, and ideologically motivated historiography - dinosaurs hang on paleontology, which uses physics, geology, biology, and other scientific disciplines that aren’t subject to the same kind of ideological capture.

I am willing to entertain the theory. The fact that the theory is an insult to my observational skills is not my fault.

It’s always strange to wonder what these people’s internal motivations are, what led them to communism and what they think it is. It’s all very “identifies as a Stalinist because of tiktok phonk edits”.

You’d think so but in Germany theres at least one somewhat prominent communist party that questioned whether the big bang, or used to do so at least. I’ve seen flyers for whole hour long seminars organized by them. Very real and politically active people putting hours into this kind of stuff. It’s weird.

if youre a communist you should at least entertain the idea that jackson hinkle and the american communist party are a LaRouchest CIA psyop lol

    Anyway

The CPC funds fossil digs, there’s amazing archeology out of PRC

3d printed bones are a recreations of other finds, or filling in parts of fossils, iirc they used to make them with plaster
