Holy cow. Despite the underlying subject not being a laughing matter I found this image pretty funny and it gave me a chuckle, then I popped into the comments to basically find a warzone.

Anyone who feels attacked by this and gets defensive seriously needs to take a step back and examine why.

    Misogynists: Feminism is oppressing me.

    Sane people: Be honest.

    Mysoginists: Society hates men.

    Sane people: Be honest.

    Mysoginists: I can’t get laid.

If you don’t want to be hated, stop raping and murdering everybody. I mean… come on.

Guess you are part of the problem too. If you don’t want to be hated stop wars, genocide, starvation, planetary destruction. I mean… come on.

Stop one rape or murder? Well, if you are a rapist and murderer and you stop a rape or a murder, depends. Are you stopping yourself? Someone else? So many questions.

Like, if you stopped someone from murdering the Green River Killer, I’d be like “lame”.

If you prevented them from murdering or raping, I’d be like “good job”. Even if you were a rapist and murderer.

            But, I’d still hate you.

If you’ve never raped or murdered anybody and you stop someone else from doing so, I’d be like “that dude is alright”.

But, I’d probably not hate you. I would find you… tolerable. Maybe.

“What ifs” are endless, it’s all very byzantine

Damn. Did the Tates or some other random ass incel group break containment again? I missed that one among the sea of gestures loosely, but thanks for the warning…

Same eternal problem: people equal shit and no one can actually do anything about it, but it’s not that important really.

Read also: old people on the bench waste their time arguing on what will or will not happen tomorrow and how life is too unpredictable nowadays, but it certainly wasn’t back then (it was), grass was greener and sky more blue in their youth (no, it wasn’t) etc.

Hi I’m a man. The answer is no.

The problems of men and being a man are unfortunately, caused by men. Education and empathy are the only solutions and require men to implement them on one another. Be a bro, be kind

Feminism has nothing to do with the problems of men and more often than not feminism and understanding what feminism is will help the problems of men.

Feminism is the fight for equality for all genders, including men! Thank you for pointing this out :)

I can link the full conversation again for context.

          Context:

          velma

Fathers have a responsibility to not pass down their rapist tendencies to their children regardless of the weights of the world that we all have to deal with one way or another.

          minorkeys

“Do it even if you can’t, or we’ll hurt you!” And we wonder why male spaces are becoming so aggressive…

          velma

“or we’ll hurt you!” Where did you get this?

Asking for jail time for rapists isn’t a wild idea.

          minorkeys

From the harm your extremist views cause. Demanding ppl do things beyond their capabilities is harm.

          velma

Demanding that men stop raping people is asking them for something beyond their capabilities? You have a dismal view of men.

Edit:: I am allowed to recall previous conversations and I’m allowed to express my opinions on those conversations. I didn’t force you to type these comments to me. I will not quiet down in order for you to try to maintain your reputation by allowing these types of comments to be hidden in posts.

That’s not quite was I asked you to agree to. I’m asking that we both make a clear effort not to engage with or respond to each other going forward, rather than simply not seeking each other out. I’m asking for the same boundary from both of us, and I’d appreciate a straightforward agreement to that.
