It has a certain… I don’t know
Je Na Zi Quoi?
Its not necessarily the logo itself. Its the logo together with color combination.
The first two things I thought of were Nazis and Winston cigarette packs for some reason. But yeah, definitely giving some vibes isn’t it?

They knew exactly what they were doing.
Idk if it’s better or worse if they didn’t know
Everyone’s rightfully focusing on how this looks like a nazi thing, but I also want to point out that it looks like shit.
I don’t have time to go full mcmansionhell on it but:

The combination of rounded and sharp corners for the outline is also…a choice

The talons and beak have sharp corners, the wings have rounded corners, I can see how that choice happened I guess
The wildly-inconsistent stroke
The afterthought feather lines
The gaping mouth and tiny, misplaced eye
The forgotten tail that looks like a 7 from a serif font
I can’t get a design job for three years, but some asshole who didn’t even have the excuse of using AI made this shit and presumably got paid for it? What the fuck?
ES IST WUNDERBAR

National Frank’s Fluids Workers Party
Obvious nazi colors aside, this is literally what you’d see as the emblem for a dictatorship in a fictional work.
It’s literally the author saying “It’s alternate timeline/different world so like the aren’t the nazis but they literally are the nazis just from this world”
Zeon vibes

Tbf at least Zeon was kinda anti-imperialist.
Zeon is complicated and I have argue sooo fucking much with redditors that thinking of them as a 1:1 nazi parallel is awful media literacy, just cause Ghiren Zabi compares himself to Hitler doesnt make Zeon nazis, even under the Zabis. There are too many significant differences, like the anti imperialism, contolism makes sense. Class stratification is EXTREME in the UC, the show doesnt shine a light on it for the most part, but if you pay attention, it’s there. Most people live in space already but are either tourist destinations or a productive periphery to benefit earth, and then looking at scenes that take place on earth, it seems people are members of the government, higher ups in corporations or members of the military and then the rest seem hella poor. Also if you’re gonna say Zeon are just space nazis then you’re also sating the show is doing some major clean Wermect bullshit. Zeon is a combination of a lot of things
Zeon is definitely complicated(sign of well written media). I generally hold the view that while the Zabis are quite bad and do some actually heinous shit(Operation British), I don’t think the Earth Federation are any better in that regard, and it’s more likely that the people in space would be in a better situation in time if Zeon won the OYW than the Federation winning.
Also I think another thing people drawing the 1:1 comparison miss is that Nazism(and Fascism in general) is centered around blaming a minority while upholding the supremacy of a group, which Zeon doesn’t really do. They adopt some fashy aesthetics but they don’t introduce eugenics or ethnic-ultranationalism.
The Caffeine aisle was the canary in the coal mine.
The fashification of American brands will continue until every brand feels equally evil again.
Sorry, what?
I think they are talking about Black Rifle Coffee. I very fash coded coffee brand that was wildly popular a few years ago
It’s still out there and there are other brands doing the same thing now.

“Please like us, chuds. We’re weawwy weawwy sowwy saying racism is bad!”
Oh my

Very much evokes nazi-era iron cross medallions. That tail section especially.
CW swastika, nazi imagery
